  Description: Slender herbs, profusely branched from base. Leaves simple, 1.5-2.5 x 0.2-0.3 cm, linear lanceolate, mucronate at tip, sparsely cottony above, densely white cottony below; midrib prominent. Heads grouped into dense corymbs. Involucre bracts many seriate, scaly, cottony without, 0.3-0.4 cm long. Corolla tube slender, 0.3 cm long, 5-lobed, pale yellow. Stamens 5; anthers sagittate at base. Achenes 0.1 cm, angled and slightly compressed, minutely white papillose. Pappus of many white barbellate hairs, 0.3-0.4 cm long.
