Description:
Scarcely branched herbs. Leaves opposite, to 6 x 2 cm, oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, base subcordate or truncate, subsessile. Racemes axillary, elongate, 15-20 cm or more, glandular-hairy; flowers pink with purple blotches. Calyx lobes 5, narrowy lanceolate, glandular pubescent. Corolla small, conspicuously 2-lipped. Staminal filaments hirsute; anthers bearded. Capsules linear, glabrous; retinacula acute.
