Description:
Low undershrubs with erect branches. Leaves opposite, to 1.8 x 1 cm, ovate or elliptic, acute, rounded or cuneate at base, villous along the recrved margins. Flowers in rather long often paniculate racemes. Calyx lobes 5, lanceolate, 5-7 mm long, glandular hispid. Corolla slightly ventricose, dark brownish-purple. Anthers not bearded. Capsule linear oblong, 1.8 x 3mm, very glandular hispid.
