Description:
Shrubs, to 2.5 m high; stem tetragonous, densely puberulus. Leaves to 20 x 15 cm, broadly ovate, obtuse, crenate, base acute, hirtus above, densely tomentose below, 10-nerved; petioles 2-4 cm long. Spikes 15 cm long, panicled, terminal. Flowers densely packed; calyx 3 mm long, glabrous; upper lip erect, shortly lobed, puberulus, densely red-glandular; corolla 4 mm long, upper lip concave, clawed, greenish yellow; lower lip obscurely 4-lobed.
