  Description: Erect, slender, annual herbs, to 50 cm tall; stem simple, shortly glandular-hairy. Leaves alternate, 2.5-10 x 0.3-2 cm, obovate-elliptic, acute, narrowed into a subalate petiole, subglabrous or thinly short-hairy, glandular. Heads few, in a lax, leafy panicle. Peduncles 0.5-2 cm long. Involucral bracts llinear, sharply acute, thinly hairy, 0.3-0.7 cm long. Corolla of disk-flowers 4-5 mm long; lobes glabrous or hairy with unicellular hairs and colleters. Achenes ribbed, papus white.
