  Description: Scandent shrubs. Leaves to 11x 6 cm, ovate, acuminate, irregularly crenate, cordate at base, sparsely stellate hairy; petiole 2-3.5 cm long, densely stellate hairy, stipule 15 mm long, divided into 2-5 linear lobes. Racemes to 20 cm long, densely tomentose. Female flowers pedicelled, 8 mm across; sepals lanceolate; petals hispid; ovary densely stellate hairy, style linear, not divided, 6 mm long. Male flowers many; sepals ovate; petals similar to sepals; torus densely villous; stamens many, filaments, glabrous. Capsule 20 x 17 mm, obovoid, retuse, densely stellate hairy.
