  Description: Erect subshrubs to 1 m tall; branches trigonous, ciliate with stiff hairs on angles. Leaves 1-foliolate, 5-15 x 1.5-4 cm, ovate-lanceolate or oblong, apex acuminate, base subcordate, glabrous above and tomentose below; petiole to 3.5 cm long; stipules 1-1.8 x 0.4-0.5 cm, subulate at apex, striated. Racemes terminal, 10-28 cm long; bracts 3-6 x 3-5 mm, subulate; pedicels 4-6 mm long. Calyx c. 4 mm long, campanulate; lobes lanceolate, acuminate. Petals pink. Stamens monadelphous. Ovary 3-4 mm long, pubescent without; style curved; stigma capitate. Pods 1.8-3.5 x 0.5-0.7 cm, laterally compressed, 5-7-jointed, loosely appressed hairy.
