Description:
Twining shrubs; stem villous. Leaves trifoliolate; leaflets to 13 x 7.5 cm, end one rhomboid or ovate, laterals inequilateral, ovate-lanceolate, basally 3-nerved, chartaceous, lower surface pubescent; stipule ovate-acute, tomentose. Flowers in axillary racemes, to 5 cm long; bracts and bracteoles subulate, caduceus. Calyx lobes subequal. Petals bluish white; standard orbicular, 1.5 cm across; wings oblong, auricled at base; keels curved. Stamens (9) + 1, filaments alternately long and short. Pod densely brown-tomentose, to 6 cm long.
