Description:
Shrubs, less than 60 cm high. Leaves opposite, ca. 6.5 x 3 cm, elliptic, acute; petiole ca. 0.5 cm. Inflorescence terminal ca. 3 cm long; bract lanceolate ca. 1.6 x 0.7 cm. Sepals 5, filamentous, glandular hairs on the surface. Corolla blipped, corolla tube and petal lobes are yellow in colour. Stamens 2, filaments and anther lobes yellow in colour. Fruit and ovoid compressed capsule, retinacula curved.
