  Description: Deciduous shrubs; young stem densely brown pubescent. Leaves 3-7 x 2-4 cm, elliptic-obovate, attenuate at base, margin serrulate, caudate acumiante at apex, glabrous, venation prominent below; petiole to 1 cm long. Racemes axillary, 2.5-4 cm long, appear along with leaves. Peduncle brown pubescent. Pedicel c. 2 mm long. Calyx lobes triangular, c. 1 mm long. Corolla yellow with a thick callous at base inside; lobes 1.5-2 mm long, punctate. Anthers with red gland at the back. Ovary globose; stigma truncate. Fruits 3-4 mm across, subglobose, red tipped by the style.
