Description:
Large scandent epiphytic shrubs; branchlets angled, densely covered with stipular scars, glabrous. Leaves to 20 x 6 cm, oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, acute at base, reddish when dry; lateral nerves 14-16 pairs, prominent, regularly looping below the margins; lowest pair from the base, rib-like; petiole 3 cm long; stipule 4 cm long, glabrous. Receptacle 8-12 mm across, axillary, paired, globose, glabrous; peduncle 5 mm long; bracteoles 3, ovate, at the apex of the peduncle.
