Description:
Small trees. young buds slightly brown pubescent. Leaves alternate, ovate to oblong lanceolate, attenuate at base, obtusely acute at apex, 6-16 x 2-5 cm, ; midrib prominent and chanelled above; petioles 0.6-0.8 cm long. Flowers axillary, solitary; pedicels 1-2 cm long. Sepals 3, 0.5-0.6 cm long, triangular ovate. Petals 6, 3+3; outer larger, 2.5-2.8 x 0.8-1 cm, ovate-lanceolate; inner smaller, 0.8-1 x 0.5-0.6 cm, ovate-lanceolate, clawed. Stamens many, connective capitate. Carpels many, 0.6-0.8 cm long; style subulate. Fruitlets up to 20, subsesile or very shortly pedicelled, obtuse or rounded at apex; seed 1.
