Description:
Shrubs, branchlets dark gray, young ones pubescent. Leaves 4.5 x 2 cm, ovate, elliptic, apex acute to acuminate, base cordate, margins finely serrate, glabrous above, finely tomentose below, base slightly oblique; petiole 7 mm, pubescent; stipules lanceolate. Flowers many, peduncles 3-5, axillary, 1.2 cm; bracts and bracteoles 1 cm, lanceolate; pedicels to 0.5 cm; sepals 7 x 1.5 mm, oblong, pubescent; petals 2 mm, oblong, entire, with a gland at base; stamens indefinite, unequal to 5 mm; torus 2 mm; ovary 4 mm, ovate, pubescent.
