Description:
Scarcely branched weak subshrubs; stems glabrous, 4-lined. Leaves to 6.5 x 2.5 cm, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, yellow when dried, rounded at base, glabrous; nerves 3 pairs; petiole 4-8 mm long; stipule 7 mm long, ovate, shortly glandular-toothed along the margins, glabrous. Cymes to 12 cm broad, in terminal corymbs. Flowers 10 mm long, sessile; calyx 4 mm long, glabrous; corolla pink; stigma 2.5 mm long, bifid to the base. Capsule 7 x 3 mm, 3-6 ridged; seeds sharply angled, black.
