Description:
Herbaceous twiners, stem hirsute with bulbous based hairs, glabrous when old. Leaves 3-8 x 2-6 cm, triangular-ovate, deeply cordate to sagitate, apex acute, shortly aristate, more pubescent beneath; petiole to 8 cm long; flowers axillary, 1-3 flowered; peduncle 2, 8 cm long, sparsely to prominently pubescent; bracts 2, linear-elliptic to lanceolate, pubescent; pedicels to 5 cm long, pubescent; sepals subequal, outer 3 larger, 7-8 x 3-4 mm, linear, hastate at base, obtuse to acute at apex, pubescent, inner 2 smaller, 8 x 2 mm, linear, pubescent; corolla mauve with purples centre, funnel shaped, 2-3 cm across; stamens exserted, unequal; ovary conical, 1-1.5 x 1 mm; disc small, style subexserted, stigma biglobose. Capsule 5-6 x 6-7 mm, globose; pedicels recurved.
