  Description: Shrubs, branches terete or obtusely 4-angled, glabrous. Leaves simple, opposite, 25-40 x 7-10 cm, oblanceolate, apex acute, base attenuate, glabrous, nerves 8 pairs, prominent; petiole 5-6 cm long. Flowers in axillary or terminal peduncled, simple or branched, to 20 cm long spikes; bracts and bracteoles similar, 5 x 1.5 mm, oblong, pubescent. Calyx lobes 6 mm long, lanceolate, puberulus. Corolla white with pink spots, villous at the base between the filaments; upper lip 1.5 cm long, oblong, notched; lower 3-lobed. Ovary densely hairy. Capsule 25 mm long, clavate, glabrous; seeds 4, suborbicular, 4 mm across, rugose, glabrous.
