Description:
Bushy shrub; branchlets 4-angled, densely reddish tomentose. Leaves decussate, (ob)lanceolate, to 11 x 2.5 cm, base acute, margin subentire and slightly revolute, apex apiculate, scaberulous above, glaucous below; petiole to 2 cm; bracts linear, to 1.3 cm. Verticils axillary on the upper axils, to 2.5 cm wide. Calyx tubular, 0.8 cm, 8-10-ribbed; mouth straight; teeth 8-10, longer than the ring of hairs. Corolla-tube 1.3 cm; limb 2-lipped, 4 + 1. Stamens 4. Nutlets oblong, 4 x 2.5 mm, brownish.
