Description:
Stout climbers; stems terete. Leaflets to 11 x 6.5 cm, ovate, abruptly acuminate, rounded to subcordate at base, hispid below; nerves 4-6 pairs; petiole 7 cm long; stipules ovate, densely hispid. Racemes to 10 cm long, drooping. Flowers few, greenish white; calyx 15 mm long, lobes lanceolate, hairy, standard 1 cm across, orbicular; wings 3 cm long, linear-oblong, curved. Pods 6.5 x 6 cm, woody, compressed, winged along the margins, transversely ridged on sides, densely covered with strong reddish-brown bristles.
