Description:
Small deciduous trees, bark rough; branchlets with more or less concentric layers of leafscars. Leaves 5-12 x 2.5-4 cm, lanceolate, crenate, subcoriaceous, glabrous, stipules 2. Umbels axillary or terminal; flowers yellow, pedicels 2.5 cm; sepals 5, 1.5-0.7 cm, ovate; petals 5, 2 x 0.5 cm, obovate; stamens many, filaments as long as anthers, disc lobed; ovary 10-lobed, 2 mm, style 1.5 cm, thick. Drupe 3-10-lobed, to 1 cm.
