Description:
Twining shrubs, young shoots glabrous. Leaves 9-13 x 4-6 cm, elliptic or oblong-lanceolate, apex acuminate, base rounded or subcordate, glabrous, subcoriaceous, lateral nerves 6-8 pairs; petiole to 2 cm long. Flowers in axillary corymbose cymes; calyx 5-partite, glandular within; corolla greenish-yellow, tube 5mm long, campanulate, mouth with a ring of hairs, lobes 6 mm long; stamens attached near the base of corolla tube, filaments twisted, anthers sagitate, connivent around and adnate to stigma; ovary 2-celled, stigma columnar; disc triangular. Follicles maturity, separate on maturity.
