Description:
Bushy, perennial, aromatic subshrubs to 1 m; branchlets swollen at nodes, soft-pubescent. Leaves alternate, cordate-ovate in outline, to 6 x 7 cm, 5-7 lobed; lobes digitate, margin dentate; petiole to 3 cm; stipules auriculate-acute, 1 cm. Umbels 4-9 flowered on axillary peduncles, to 7 cm, subtended by an involucre of foliaceous, elliptic-acute bracts, 1 x 0.5 cm; pedicel 1 cm. Sepals 5, elliptic-ovate, 1 x 0.4 cm, hirsute. Petals 5, obovate, 2 x 0.6 cm, pink with deeper veins. Stamens 10. Ovary densely hairy, 5-lobed and 5-celled; ovule(s) 1 or 2 per cell. Schizocarp to 4 cm; mericarps 5.
