Description:
Large climbers; branches glabrous, warted. Leaves alternate, ca. 4.8 x 3.2 cm, ovate-cordate, acuminate at apex, base rounded or cordate, in size, glabrous; petiole 1.5 cm long. Panicles very large, axillary, minutely fulvous-pubescent; flowers white. Sepals in flowers 1/5 inch, oblong; in fruit all equal 1/3 inch subspathulate. Corolla 8 mm, white; limb distinctly lobed. Stamens subincluded; filaments filiform or shortly linear. Ovary 2-celled, 4-ovuled; style bipartite; stigmas small, capitate. Capsule 4 mm, globose; seed one, glabrous; cotyledons plaited.
