Description:
Shrubby to 2(3) m; tender parts pubescent. Leaves opposite or ternate, elliptic-obovate to lanceolate, 7-15 x 2-4 cm, 3-nerved from base, thinly pubescent, base rounded, apex acuminate; petiole to 0.5 cm. Flowers in (sub) sessile, axillary clusters. Male: 4 mm across; buds truncate, scabrid-pubescent along the margin without. Tepals 5, ovate-lanceolate, 2 mm, plicate in the middle. Stamens 5; filaments 2 mm; anthers 1 mm. Female: 1 mm across. Tepals connate, pubescent, acute. Ovary obovoid, 1 mm; style linear, 1.5 mm, hairy. Achene obovoid, winged.
