Description:
Small trees, bark grey, fissured. Leaves 11-15 x 3-5 cm, obovate or oblong, apex abruptly acuminate, base cuneate, glabrous, glossy above, lateral nerves 7-9 pairs, reticulations thin, prominent; petiole to 1.2 cm long; stipules glabrous, shining. Cymes terminal, few flowered. Flowers 2.5 cm long, white, slightly fragrant; calyx limb truncate, shortly 5-toothed; corolla lobes spreading; anthers linear, included; ovule pendulous, stigma 2-lobed. Berry 1 cm across, crowned by the calyx limb.
