Description:
Unarmed straggler to liane. Leaves alternate, elliptic-oblong, to 10 x 4 cm, subcoriaceous, glabrous; nerves 7 pairs; base obtuse, margin serrulate-recurved, apex acuminate; petiole to 8 mm; stipules 0. Spikes axillary, also terminal, to 5 cm; peduncle 1 cm. Flowers 3 mm wide; pedicel 2 mm; bracts puberulous. Calyx 5-lobed; lobes ovoid. Petals 5, yellowish, cucullate. Disk adnate to calyx, pitted. Stamens 5. Ovary urceolate, 3-celled; styles 3; stigma discoid. Drupe 7 mm wide, 3- celled; seeds 3, conical, 3 mm wide.
