Description:
Young stem, leaves on back and nerves above densely fulvous tomentose. Leaves 8-12 x 6-10 cm, broadly ovate, palmately 5-lobed; lobes acute to shortly acuminate, deeply cordate at base; lamina rugose above. Flowers in short axillary and terminal corymbose panicles. Bracts 1-1.5 cm, pectinately laciniate; segments 0.8-1 cm long. Calyx campanulate, tube 0.3-0.4 cm, lobes 5, 0.3-0.4 cm long, ovate, acuminate, densely fulvous tomentose. Petals 5, 0.2-0.3 cm long, ovate, smaller than calyx, pinkish. Stamens many. Fruit a compound berry, 1-1.5 x 0.8-1 cm, oblong, reddish brown on ripening.
