  Description: Shrubs. Leaves shortly petiolate, ovate or oblong lanceolate, apex acuminate, mucronate, base obtuse or rounded, glabrous, glaucous below, lateral nerves 6-8 pairs, slender; stipules lanceolate, 5 mm long. Flowers solitary; perianth lobes oblong, unequal, alternate long, obovoid, larger lobe 3 mm long; smaller ones 2 mm long. Fruits depressed obovoid, creamy white, to 2.2 x 2.5 cm; pericarp 5 mm thick; seeds 6, trigonous, smooth, 8-10 x 5 mm; fruit pedicels 1.5 cm long, perianth scarcely enlarged.
