Description:
Leaves alternate, oblong/orbicular-ovate, to 5.5 x 4 cm, whitish, base cordate, apex obtuse; petiole 1.5 cm. Inflorescence a condensed raceme, 5 cm wide, fascicled at nodes of old branches, with 30-40 flowers; bracts ovate. Calyx truncate, 3 mm; teeth obscure. Corolla orange-tawny, 6 mm wide, split down on one side from above the middle; tube 1.5 cm; lobes 4, each 7 mm. Stamens 4. Style 2.3 cm. Fruit clavate, attenuate towards base.
