Description:
Climbing shrubs, stems prickly. Leaves to 8 x 6 cm, broadly ovate, acuminate, base broadly cordate, coriaceous, margins crispate, 5-9 nerved; petiole twisted, to 2 cm, sheath reduced, tendrils axillary from the very base, coiled. Umbels sessile on axillary racemes. flowers unisexual; male flowers-perianth lobes 3 mm, lanceolate; filaments 1.2 mm, anthers 1 mm.
