Description:
Erect shrubs; stems usually bluish; prickles to 1 cm long, on stem, petiole and leaves, stout with broaden and bluish base. Leaves to 7 x 5 cm, shallowly lobed; stellate hairs equally armed; petiole 3-6 cm long. Flowers solitary, axillary; pedicels 2.5 cm long, deflexed in flowers and fruits; calyx hairy or with scattered prickles; corolla blue, 1.5 cm across, hairy outside. Berry yellow, 2.5 cm across, globose, smooth.
