Description:
Large climbing shrubs; tendrils 7 cm long, forked, lobes curved. Leaves to 9 x 4 cm, acute at base and apex, reddish brown when dry, 3-ribbed with a narrow sub-marginal rib; nervules raised; petiole 7 mm long, glabrous. Cymes short, axillary, 2 cm across. Flowers 5-6 together; pedicels 5-6 mm long, slender; calyx 1.5 mm long, lobes ovate, acute, glabrous; corolla 6 mm across, tube equal to the lobes; ovary glabrous, style 6 mm long. Berry 2 cm across, globose, seeds 1 or 2, flat, compressed.
