Description:
Large climbers; tendrils 6-12 cm long, bifid. Leaves 10-15 x 5-7 cm, elliptic, acute at both ends, reddish when dry; nerves prominent, nervules subparallel; petiole 5 mm long. Cymes 2 x 3 cm, peduncled, axillary. Flowers many; calyx lobes 2 x 1 mm, ovate, acute, glabrous; corolla bright yellow, 7 mm long, tube short, lobes 5-6 x 1.5 mm, oblong, acute, hairy inside; filaments 4 mm long, anthers hardly wider than filaments; ovary conical, continued into the style, together 5 mm long, stigma 2-toothed.
