Description:
Shrubs, branchlets white. Leaves opposite, often unequal, 7-10 x 4 cm, elliptic, apex caudate-acuminate, base acute, lateral nerves 7 pairs; petiole 1 cm long. Cymes terminal. Flowers white; pedicels stout, 1 cm long; sepals ovate, obtuse; corolla tube to 17 mm long, cylindrical; lobes 15 mm long, oblong, obtuse. Capsule 3 x 1.25 cm, not curved; aril red.
