Description:
Branchlets rusty. Leaves obovate, 3-5 x 2-3 cm, base cuneate, apex obtuse, blackish green above when dry, thinly grey-pubescent below; petiole to 1.5 cm. Cymes to 6-flowered, rusty; bracts ovate, free from the calyx, but partly enveloping it below. Calyx-tube 3 mm; teeth 5, irregularly lobed. Corolla 2 cm long, yellowish green, 0.8 cm wide; tube curved, split half-way, gibbously inflated below the middle, rusty-villous; lobes 5. Stamens 5. Style 2 cm. Drupe oblong to flask-shaped, 1 x 0.4 cm, rusty.
