Description:
Large shrubs; branchlets wooly tomentose. Leaves to 20 x 5 cm, lanceolate, acute at either ends, rugose above, margins irregular, densely white-tomentose below; nerves 12-15 pairs; petiole 1.5 cm long. Heads 9 x 5 mm, oblong, in dense corymbose panicle; branchlets wooly-tomentose; bracts oblong, wooly, 6 mm long, outer smaller, lanceolate. Flowers 15-22; corolla 6 mm long. Achenes 3-winged, glandular; outer pappus paleaceous, inner setaceous, white.
