Description:
Shrubs or undershrubs. Leaves obovate or oblanceolate, obtuse, rotundate, apiculate, nearly entire, 6-8 x 1.5-2.5 cm, glabrous, base amplexicaul, subauriculate. Heads large, in 1-3-capitulate corymbs, 30-40 flowered. Involucral bracts many seriate, ca 4 mm long, obtuse; outer smaller, oblong, triangular at tip, glabrous or puberulous without; inner completely glabrous. Achenes 2.5 mm long, glabrous, 10-ribbed. Pappus hairs reddish, outer row absent.
