Description:
Culms tufted, decumbent, to 28 cm. Leaf-blades flat, 5-15 x 0.4-1 cm, glabrous, margins scaberulous. Racemes 3-8, to 4 cm; rachis 3-quetrous basally and flattened above, scabrid; pedicels to 0.1 cm. Spikelets oblong, to 0.3 cm, obtuse; pubescent. Lower glume broadly ovate, obtuse, to 0.15 cm; upper glume to 0.28 cm; lower lemma to 0.25 cm; upper lemma to 0.2 cm, rugose; palea to 0.18 cm.
