  Description: Herbs. Leaves 3-3.5 x 1.5-2 cm, ovate-lanceolate, acute, closely set. Flowers pink, 3 x 2 cm, in 5-10 cm long, terminal raceme; bracts foliaceous, 15-17 x 10-12 mm, ovate, acuminate; dorsal sepal and petals connated to form a hood; dorsal sepal 8 x 4.5 mm, ovate, acute, 3-veined; lateral sepals 10 x 4.5 mm, obliquely ovate-lanceolate, acute, 4-veined; petals 8 x 2.5 mm, falcate-linear, acuminate, 3-veined; lip 23 x 16 mm, obcordate, with a triangular apiculus.
