Description:
Scapigerous herbs; roots tuberous. Leaves to 15 x 3 cm, lanceolate-acuminate. Scape longer than leaves, to 40 cm long. Flowers in pairs; bracts small, membranous; pedicel c. 7 mm, jointed above middle. Tepals 6, white, oblong, c. 8 mm long. Stamens 6, anthers longer than filaments. Capsule 3-lobed; seeds orbicular, rugose.
