Description:
Large herbs, hirsute. Leaves to 7 x 3 cm, ovate, acute at apex, base obtuse, crenate, slightly decurrent to petiole, scabrous above, white pubescent below; petiole to 2 cm. Panicles axillary and terminal, to 20 cm; flowers blue; bracts 1 mm, ovate; calyx tube 1 mm, lobes 1 mm, ovate, 5-ribbed, pubescent outside; corolla 6 mm, slightly curved, pubescent outside; filaments 3 mm; ovary 1 mm, oblong.
