  Description: Slender erect shrubs. Leaves opposite, 2-22 x 1.5-4 cm, long acuminate at apex, obtuse at base; stipules triangular with subulate tip, 0.5-0.6 cm long. Corymbs flacid, few-flowered; bracts and bracteoles 0.2-0.25 cm long, subulate. Calyx campanulate; tube 0.2-0.25 cm long; lobes 0.3-0.35 cm long. Corolla greenish white; tube 1.6-2 cm long; lobes lanceolate, 0.4-0.5 cm long, curled and recurved. Stamens attached between lobes at throat of tube. Ovary and style glabrous. Fruit 8 x 10 mm, red on ripening.
