Description:
Small trees. Branchlets slender. Leaves 3-10 x 0.5-1 cm, narrowly linear lanceolate, long acuminate at apex, attenuate at base, recurved on margins, brownish above greenish yellow below on drying; midrib chanelled above, projected below; petioles 0.4-0.5 cm long. Flowers densely fascicled on old stem. Peduncles 0.2-0.25 cm long. Pedicels 0.1 cm long. Bracts and bracteoles scaly. Calyx tube 0.1 cm long, broadly cup-shaped. Petals blue, 0.1 cm long, ovate. Stamens exerted. Ovules many; style subulate, 0.3-0.4 cm long. Fruits globose, 7-8 mm diam.; seed 1; cotyledon foliaceous.
