Description:
Shrubs. Leaves 8-11 x 5-7 cm, ovate, apex acuminate, base rounded, crenate, hispid above, sparsely pubescent below. Head to 3 cm, ovoid; bract to 2 cm, oblong; bracteoles 1.2 cm, linear, setaceous; calyx to 1 cm, lanceolate, scarious; corolla to 3 cm, cylindrical, pale violet; stamens 4, subequal, filaments pilose; style to 2.5 cm, hairy. Capsule to 1 cm, ellipsoid; seed 4 obovate.
