Description:
Young stem densely pubescent. Leaves 3-5 x 0.8-1.2 cm, oblanceolate, obtuse at apex, narrowly attenuate at base, obscurely crenate on margins, rugose above; sparsely pubescent above when young; glabrous on ageing. Heads 1-4, terminal. Peduncles 2.5-3.5 cm, densely pubescent. Bracts minute. Heads 1.2-1.5 cm across, 0.8-1 cm long. Involucre bracts many-seriate, 0.3-0.6 cm long, lanceolate, acuminate at apex, densely brown pubescent without. Corolla tube 0.5-0.6 cm long, pubescent without, widened at mouth; lobes 5, 0.2-0.3 cm long. Stamens 5. Style-arms subulate. Achenes 0.3-0.35 cm long. Pappus 2-seriate, outer small, paleaceous, 0.05-0.1 cm long; inner 0.4-0.5 cm long, white barbellate hairs.
